Background Ready-to-use positive controls for the qualitative and quantitative antigen determination when using immunoassays of the SERION ELISA classic,SERION ELISA antigen and SERION ELISA agile product line in accordance with modern quality guidelines. In addition to the controls contained in the SERION ELISA test kit, the ready-to-use components are an additional, external reagent for checking the validity of the test run carried out, for determining the laboratory-internal error limits and for documenting the batch-to-batch consistency of the method used. As part of extensive validation studies, target values and areas of validity are determined for each test-specific SERION ELISA control and documented on batch-specific certificates of analysis. These serve as guide values, particularly within the framework of internal laboratory quality assurance in accredited testing laboratories in accordance with the guidelines of the German Medical Association (RiLiBÄK).

Application Instructions SERION ELISA control are ready to use and do not need to be further diluted. An Rf absorption for the determination of IgM antibodies is also not necessary.
