Background Troponin T (TnT) is the tropomyosin- binding subunit of the troponin complex which is situated on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulates muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentrations. Mutations in the TNNT2 gene are associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as with dilated cardiomyopathy and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Handling
Storage Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage, addition of 0.1% human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin is recommended. Avoid multiple freeze- thaw cycles.
Dilution Instructions Dilute in PBS or medium that is identical to that used in the assay system.
