Background Annexin 7 is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipids binding proteins. It includes a unique, highly hydrophobic N-terminal domain of 167 amino acids and a conserved C-terminal region of 299 amino acids. The latter is composed of alternating hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments. Analysis of this protein suggests that Annexin 7 is a membrane binding protein with diverse properties including voltage-sensitive calcium channel activity, ion selectivity, and membrane fusion.

Handling
Storage Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long-term storage, addition of 0.1% human serum albumin or bovine serum albumin is recommended. Avoid multiple freeze- thaw cycles.
Dilution Instructions Dilute in PBS or medium that is identical to that used in the assay system.
