Background DC-UbP is a 26 kDa ubiquitin-like protein from dendritic cells comprised of 106 amino acids. The ubiquitin domain in DC-UbP shares 28.6% identity with ubiquitin, but it does not have the conserved C-terminus Gly-Gly of ubiquitin required for ubiquitinization. DC-UbP is found in cytoplasm (particularly in mitochondria), and DC- UbP mRNA is expressed in various tumor cell types, but not in normal adult human tissues, which suggests a role for DC-UbP in tumorigenesis. In addition, DC-UbP appears to be downregulated during cellular differentiation and apoptosis.
Handling
Storage This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Dilution Instructions Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
Application Instructions ELISA: 1:1,000-1:10,000 with Dc-UbP on the solid phase.
The investigator should determine the optimal dilution for their application.
